Here at Parkland International Music and Arts School we are looking for future employees who will not only meet our standards, but can also show how much they care and are willing to work here at Parkland International Music and Arts School. To become an employee, you must meet the following requirements: have a Music degree or currently working on a Music degree, experience working with kids and adults of any age, a form of transportation, knowledge on how to use technology required to teach virtual and in person lessons, and most importantly have knowledge of music theory and music history.
During the interview the potential Music Instructor, Music Director and CEO will be attending the interview. Questions will be asked on where and what education you have and what experience you have when it comes to teaching and playing an instrument. In addition, you will have an in person interview audition and teach a short lesson with our Music Director. The Music Director will be giving an evaluation on your sight reading, and the techniques used when playing, but also the teaching techniques that you have applied in the short lesson. After the Interview, the CEO or the Music Director will be in contact with you if interested to go forward with the hiring process.
